CasinoTips.io is run by the CasinoTips.io team. We want every reader to be able to use it, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or voice control, and people reading at speed or late at night.
What we have done
- Semantic page structure: one main heading per page, headings in order, and landmarks for navigation, main content and footer.
- A "Skip to content" link as the first stop for keyboard users, and a visible focus outline on links, buttons and form fields.
- Text alternatives for images, and labels on every form field.
- Ratings and warnings never rely on colour alone: each one carries a figure, an icon or a label.
- Touch targets of at least 24 by 24 pixels, and 44 by 44 for most buttons.
- Works when zoomed to 200% and on screens down to 320 pixels wide without sideways scrolling.
- Respects the "reduce motion" setting in your operating system.
- The cookie banner is not a modal: it does not trap focus, and "Reject all" is as easy to reach as "Accept all".
- Responsible-gambling help is linked from every page and is never less visible than a commercial link.
Known limitations
- Free game tables (blackjack, roulette, baccarat, craps, Casino Hold’em, slots) are complex interactive widgets. They work with a keyboard, but have not yet been tested with screen readers, and the roulette betting board is a dense grid that is hard to use with magnification.
- Screen-reader testing with VoiceOver and NVDA, and testing with disabled users, has not been done yet. Checks so far are automated checks and keyboard-only checks on the main page types.
- Operator sites we link to are run by third parties and are outside our control.
