What an affiliate link is
Some outbound links to casinos carry a tracking code. If you follow one and open an account, the operator pays us, either a one-off amount or a share of what they earn from your play. Links that pay us are labelled paid link at the point of the click and tagged rel="sponsored nofollow" in the markup.
Not every operator we cover pays us. Some are listed purely because leaving them out would make the comparison dishonest, and we earn nothing from those.
The rules we hold ourselves to
- Commission never affects a score. Scores come from the seven scoring steps and six weighted categories in our methodology. Commercial terms are not an input, and the people scoring do not negotiate the deals.
- Commission never affects position. Rankings sort on score. Ties break alphabetically, not by what pays more.
- Failures stay listed. If an operator fails our checks, it stays listed and is marked as failed, including one that pays us.
- No paid placement, ever. We do not sell positions, badges, editor's-choice labels or review coverage. If an operator offers, the answer is no, and the approach is itself a scoring signal.
- Unmonetised is visible. Where we have no live link for an operator we say so plainly rather than hiding the entry.
Why we tell you this
A comparison site that hides its funding is asking you to trust it blind. Disclosure rules in the UK, the EU and the US all require this to be stated clearly and near the recommendation rather than buried in a footer. We would do it anyway: if our scores are only useful while you do not know how we are paid, they are not worth much.
What we are not
CasinoTips.io is an information site. We do not operate gambling services, hold player funds, take bets or process payments. Your account, your money and any dispute are entirely between you and the operator, under their licence and their terms.
Offers change without notice. Always read the operator's own terms before depositing; where our figures and theirs disagree, theirs are the ones that bind you.
Questions or corrections
If you think something here is wrong, or an operator is listed more favourably than the evidence supports, tell us and we will look at it. Contact the editorial team.
